Abstract: The rapid development of communications industry has spawned more new services and applications. The sixth-generation wireless communication system () network is faced with more stringent and diverse requirements. While ensuring performance requirements, such as high data rate and low latency, the problem of high energy consumption in the fifth-generation wireless communication system (5G) network has also become one of the problems to be solved in . The technology conforms to the future development trend of radio access networks, and has the advantages of reducing network energy consumption and improving resource utilization. In s, on-demand is an important technical means to ensure the ultimate performance requirements of users, and its effect will affect the efficiency of network resource utilization. This paper constructs a user-centric dynamic allocation model of wireless resources, and proposes a deep Q-network based dynamic resource allocation algorithm. The algorithm can realize dynamic and flexible admission control and in s according to the data rate and latency demands of users. According to the simulation results, the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the average user experience on a long time scale, and ensure network users a high data rate and low energy consumption.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2019, Volume 20, Issue 2,   Pages 238-252 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1800516

Abstract:

Although the perimeter security model works well enough when all internal hosts are credible, it is becoming increasingly difficult to enforce as companies adopt mobile and cloud technologies, i.e., the rise of bring your own device (BYOD). It is observed that advanced targeted cyber-attacks usually follow a cyber kill chain; for instance, advanced targeted attacks often rely on network scanning techniques to gather information about potential targets. In response to this attack method, we propose a novel approach, i.e., an “isolating and dynamic” cyber defense, which cuts these potential chains to reduce the cumulative availability of the gathered information. First, we build a zero-trust network environment through network isolation, and then multiple network properties are maneuvered so that the host characteristics and locations needed to identify vulnerabilities cannot be located. Second, we propose a software-defined proactive cyber defense solution (SPD) for enterprise networks and design a general framework to strategically maneuver the IP address, network port, domain name, and path, while limiting the performance impact on the benign network user. Third, we implement our SPD proof-of-concept system over a software-defined network controller (OpenDaylight). Finally, we build an experimental platform to verify the system’s ability to prevent scanning, eavesdropping, and denial-of-service attacks. The results suggest that our system can significantly reduce the availability of network reconnaissance scan information, block network eavesdropping, and sharply increase the cost of cyber-attacks.

Frontiers of Medicine 2018, Volume 12, Issue 1,   Pages 23-33 doi: 10.1007/s11684-017-0607-7

Abstract:

Two decades have passed since the first bacterial whole-genome sequencing, which provides new opportunity for microbial genome. Consequently, considerable genetic diversity encoded by bacterial genomes and among the strains in the same species has been revealed. In recent years, genome sequencing techniques and bioinformatics have developed rapidly, which has resulted in transformation and expedited the application of strategy and methodology for bacterial genome comparison used in dissection of infectious disease epidemics. Bacterial whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatic computing allow genotyping to satisfy the requirements of epidemiological study in disease control. In this review, we outline the significance and summarize the roles of bacterial genome sequencing in the context of bacterial disease control and prevention. We discuss the applications of bacterial genome sequencing in outbreak detection, source tracing, transmission mode discovery, and new epidemic clone identification. Wide applications of genome sequencing and data sharing in infectious disease surveillance networks will considerably promote outbreak detection and early warning to prevent the dissemination of bacterial diseases.
